Ava Ecstatic Dance is our signature dance event at Avalon that invites participants to freely express themselves through movement, guided by a curated theme for each session.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for unrestricted movement. Layers are recommended so you can adjust to your body’s temperature. Dancing barefoot is preferred, but soft-soled indoor dance shoes are allowed.
Yes, Ava Ecstatic Dance follows general Ecstatic Dance guidelines with some Avalon-specific variations. These guidelines include:
- No talking on the dance floor.
- Move however you wish.
- Respect personal space and boundaries.
- No alcohol or drugs.
- No photos or videos.
- Dance barefoot or with soft-soled indoor shoes.
- Listen to your body’s needs.
We adhere to the general Ecstatic Dance guidelines. It may be that some edition have our own few Avalon-specific variations (like adding sacred cacao, an ice bath of breath session). If any changes are made, they’ll be clearly communicated at the beginning of the session.
Absolutely not! Ava Ecstatic Dance is for everyone, irrespective of dance experience. It’s about personal expression and connecting with the music.
