DESPACHO CEREMONY

[LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE]

We are proud to announce that Avalon will have two great Wisdom Keepers on its land. On Friday May 12th two Paqo’s Shamans (A father: Don Alejandro and his son: Don Justo) from the Qero Nation, the last Inca town in Cusco, one of the most sacred places on planet Earth, located in Peru, will hold a special ceremony in the magical yurt of Avalon.

This ceremony is called a ‘Despacho’ Ceremony. A Despacho Ceremony or ‘Haywarikuy’ is a prayer offering / thank offering, in which we offer our Kintus (prayer leafs) with our questions for help from the Elements of the Three Worlds. The Paqo’s will connect in the moment itself with the energy of the group to feel what kind of ceremony is asked for. If the energies ask for it, group healing will take place with help from Light Sources from Higher Realms for this time of transformation.

To receive these energies we offer natural ingredients to (among others) Mother Earth, The Water, The Wind, The Mountains, The Women Protectors, Father Sun, Mother Moon, The Stars and the Highest Order of the Higher Realms.

FACILITATED BY
DON ALEJANDRO APAZA
Paqo’s

Paqo means Master of The Pachamama, Apus sacred mountains, and other sacred spirits from nature. A Paqo honors and interacts with the spirits of the Incas and their ancestors in order to maintain the Cosmic Order. Being a master Paqo means to help the community with a natural philosophy of life-based in-heart wisdom

One of the most important teachings of the beautiful Cosmo-vision of the Paqo’s is gratefulness for everything that our beautiful Mother Earth (Pachamama) gives us. Sacred Reciprocity is woven into their whole way of living and – among other rituals – through making a Despacho the Paqo’s show their gratefulness to Pachamama.

Despacho Ceremony

Paqo’s make Despacho’s at many occasions, like the birth of a baby, a marriage, moving to a new house, but also with full moon, equinoxes, with healing ceremonies and initiations.

A despacho is made of diverse natural materials like flowers, seeds, lama fat, etc. and with a lot of love and care the Paqo’s put them on a paper in Mandala-shape. The form and content of the Despacho varies every ceremony.

Participant of the ritual blow their wishes and dreams for themselves and the earth in Kintu’s (prayer leafs) which are then carefully put in the Despacho. Next the Despacho is closed and the participants receive a blessing from the Paqo’s. Finally, we offer the Despacho in a fireceremony to the spirits.

Don Alejandro Apaza

Don Alejandro (and his son Don Justo who is following in his father’s footsteps) Apaza Machacca is a Maestro Chumpi Healer and Paqo Pampamesayok uit Quico. He is one of the last descendants of the Inca’s, a special lineage of Paqo’s.

Don Alejandro’s father, Son Santos, his grand-father Don Ifratio, and great-grand-father Don Nicolas, among other family members bring messages to Don Alejandro on a regular base through his dreams and visions.

It is in this time of Huge Transformation that Don Alejandro can transfer the Wisdom and Knowlegde of the Apaza Lineage to them that want to work with him. Transformations in Pachamama, the world, ourselves; his unique view on what’s going on has helped many of us to look from different perspectives, to truly let go, to heal and to transform.

He has about 50 years of experience as a Paqo (master) helping people from his community and now in other countries too.
